Carbon Poker HORSE Results

Wow after my post yesterday all my luck went away.  I lost 3 big hands and finished the MTT in 31.  Just minutes before was thinking final table here I come.  As usual
I got crushed in the Homer leg.  I should just play that leg super tight!  Maybe I will heed my own advice in the next HORSE MTT I play.  Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables.  Tony

CarbonPoker Comeback

After getting my ass handed to me a few days ago I have had 2 small winning sessions.  Always like to do a few hit and runs to get my confidence back.  Playing again today, will post results later.  Also playing a few Double or Nothing Sit-N-Gos.  Good luck at the tables.  Tony

Carbon Poker Update

I've been running so bad at the micro Limit Stakes on Carbon lately.  Yesterday, while on work/life tilt, I lost 36 BB in an hour!  That is an amount I rarely spew off so quickly.  I kept calling people down with a low pair wrongly.  Than folding a winner and being showed a bluff.  It was so frustrating that I decided to just quit for the night.  Sometimes the money you don't lose is as good as money won.  Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables.  Tony

Sick Days

I've had a wicked flu since coming back from Vegas.  I guess what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay there.  Will try to do some more Venetian Deep Stack posts this weekend.  Thanks for reading.  Tony

Venetian Triple Stud Doom Hand

I love the Hi/Lo Stud leg of Triple Stud but that game can be so brutal. The hand that I lost most of my chips was a typical Hi/Lo Stud trap. First 4 cards were A-2-4-5 with 3 clubs.  I catch a 7 for a monster low and scoop potential vs a low only drawing hand. My opponant bets every street which I happily call. Figured out if I call every street can't get busted on this hand plus if I catch high can raise.  I brick out and call river thinking I have half the pot locked up.  Nope he backed into a 6 high straight which leaves me crippled.  I fought hard for a few minutes but couldn't recover.  Finished in 19th, of well next time.  Tony
