WSOP 50K Players Championship

Sorry for the late post about the 8-Game Players Championship Results. It's been a crazy busy holiday shortened week. Basically had to get 5 days worth of work into 4 days! IMHO Phil Hellmuth blew his chance for a 12th braclet. Calling all in with an under card flush draw with a big stack is a bad move in most cases. In the one hand he shoved with it, which do to fold equity wasn't that bad. Brian Rasst made a great call with A-K unimproved vs. 9-6 suited which actually had more outs being 3 sixes and 3 nines were good too. The other 2 all in calls by Hellmuth were really bad being he called with 2 cards lower than the board, to a flush, both times. I don't know what he was thinking but maybe he wanted to win so bad that he didn't think it through. The one hand they had 9 million chips each and he called off into a pot that only had 1 million to begin with as a 2-1 underdog. Still he did have 3 impressive 2nd place finishes in non-holdem events this year. Plus he had 5 cashes overall and most likely will win player of the year too. Overall I think he has nothing to be ashamed of for this WSOP. Thanks for reading adn good luck at the tables. Tony
