Rush Poker

Finally something has clicked in my brain. I am crushing Rush Poker this week. I did step down a level and I am not losing all my flips, like I have been for a few weeks now. All in pre-flop my Kings are holding up vs. QQ and JJ. It feels so good for the percentages to finally fall in my favor and hold up! Foxwoods Trip Report

Low Limit HE is alive and well at Foxwoods. Yesterday at 2 in the afternoon there were 7 $4-8 Limit He tables going. Let me tell you they were loaded with really bad players! I crushed the game, won $250 in 5 hours! Felt I couldn't lose at these tables. The players at .25-.50 online were much better. Plus when you have people drinking at 11 in the morning it's always a good sign. I will write about some hands later on. Happy Donkday. Tony

Live Poker

We have finally done it. That is finally have the time/desire to play some live poker. We are in Beutifical Mystic Conn. today. Are going over to the huge casino, in the woods, named Foxwoods. Online Update

Started the week off really bad on sunday, got my ass handed to me in all forms of Poker.(Mtts, Sngs, and Ring Play.) Yesterday and today have started to turn things around. I put 2 winning days aways, even a nice win of a few buyins at Rush Poker. Rush has been my biggest leak lately. Think I figured out some mistakes I was making in this game. One being calling all in with pocket queens can be really bad! Unless I am real short I need to fold them sometimes. Well we will see how it goes the rest of the week. Online Poker Update

It was an interesting week of Online Poker for me. My running sick bad at Rush Poker continued. I swear I lost 9 out of every 10 coin tosses I got into this week. Also the set up hands almost always went against me. I shoved Queens into Kings and Kings into Aces more times than I can count. On Sunday I lost over 8 buyins in one day, which for me is really bad. On Wednesday I lost another 5 which stung also. Yesterday I had a little better than a breakeven day so the bleeding has stopped, for now. Now for the good news, I have found my winning ways at Sit-N-Gos once again! I have played 7 this week with 5 cashes and 2 bubbles. Both Bubbles I was a big favorite all in pre-flop. One was A-K vs A-5, other was pocket Queens vs. pocket Nines. I am happy with the 5 cashes but no wins! I took 3 seconds and 2 thirds. In all the seconds felt played well but again just couldn’t win the important all in pre-flops. Seems to me, like I am sure it seems to everyone else, that I don’t win my fair share of coin flips. I may have to purchase poker tracker and look at my long term stats. in this department. This weekend I will finish off a block of 20 Sit-N-gos on Stars to see if I can finish in the money. Also will put a large volume of MTTs up being the year is wasting away and I have a lot of ground to make up in the Yearly TLB on Stars. I am taking a shot in a WCOOP tonight also. Made a final table yesterday, good for almost 6 buy ins. At the final table a very annoying thing happened. The chip leader, by far was disconnected. Every time it was his turn to act we had to wait for him to attempt to reconnect. At all the other sites you get sat out once disconneted but at Stars they keep delaying the game everytime it's your turn! This went on for over an hour, we got like 8 hands in! I got so frustrated that I couldn't wait to get knocked out. Anyway beware of the Donks today. Happy Donkday. Tony

Wanted to go really deep in this one. My A-K couldn't hold up vs. A-2 sooted! Donk shoved 3 times with A-2 sooted(In 30 minutes) and won every one of them. What should I expect in a micro. stakes MTT? I will be grinding some more this weekend. Look for some good news. Happy Labor Day Weekend. Tony

Sick Day

I have been running so bad at cash games for the last 2 weeks. I'm at home sick today and running a little better, at least I am winning a small amount.
