Borgata HORSE Review

Great tournament that I will play again next time they have it.  Structure was awesome, start with 12K chips with 40 minute levels.  We played 8 hands of each game before switching.  As usual my best games were RAZZ and Hi/Lo Stud.  Also as usual I got knocked out in the HE round!  I got coolered on my last hand but with my chip stack couldn't play it any differently.  Top pair, top kicker can't fold when I only have 4 big blinds left.  I loved my table draw, not because the players were weak but because I started on table 1 so would stay there the whole way.  Which was great being I got to pick up on how everyone played.  Were some really solid players there, Allen Kessler (Winner of it.) and a bunch of other tournament circuit regulars.  There were 2 really weak spots, one player way too loose and one way too tight.  When I got knocked out there were only 3 of the original players I started with so that was a moral victory.  Also made it to the dinner break so got the food comp, yeah.  Tomorrow I will post about some interesting hands.  Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables.  Tony

Borgata HORSE Results

I felt I played well in this tournament but came up short of cashing in it. congrats to the eventual winner, whom I played with all day.  While he is a rule nit, played a great strong game.  I will do a complete post later today. Tony

My ROI at Sit-N-Gos

I just Sharkscoped my play at Carbon in Sit-N-Gos and my ROI is 31.9%.  I realize the sample isn't large and I am playing low stakes Double or Nothing ones. Still I hope to be able to maintain anything close to this all year long.  Above is the screen shot.  Good luck at the tables.  Tony

Borgata HORSE Tournament

Just a few more days until my Borgata trip.  Work had been beating me up a lot lately, so can't wait to get away from it.  Two days of intense HORSE playing is just what the doctor ordered.  The doctor is my wife and she ordered me to go play, lol.  Today I am grinding away at the low limit sit-n-gos on Carbon.  Come on over and join me.   Happy Saturday!  Tony

Borgata HORSE Tournament

It's that time again!  The Borgata Winter Open is starting soon.  I took off 2 days from work to play in the HORSE tournament on Jan. 22th.  Expect to read update posts from it and after it.  I hope to go deep like in the September version of this MTT.  Great structure again, starting with 12K chips!  I like it.   Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables.  Tony

Online Roll Rebuild

I am slowly building my roll back up at Carbon Poker.  A few Big bets a day.  Great thing is I get 35% rake back deposited ti my account daily.  This makes it almost impossible to even bust my account.  Good thing is all I have to do is be a break even player and I'm making money every day.  May play in an MTT today, haven't played one in a few weeks.  Thank for reading and good luck at the tables.  Tony
