Stupid FTOPS Limit HE

Stupid Limit FTOPS Satellite on Full Tilt. This tournament will be the death of me! It’s getting personal now; I want to beat this thing. I played it again yesterday, made the final table but bubbled the money! That’s five times I exactly bubbled the money in this thing. Should have just bought in to the tournament directly. Oh well now it’s too late. I may as well play it a few times until I either lose the full $216 or I win a seat worth that much. On the cash game front I had another great night. Won 28BBs in around an hour playing on two tables. If this win rate was sustainable I would quit my job and become an online pro. Of course I would have to move up to a more difficult level also. I will be at it again tonight. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Cash Game Grinding

More of the same last night. At least I didn’t bubble in the Limit FTOPS satellite last night. Instead I got my ass handed to me, out in 11th of 15. I should just quit playing in tournaments all together. They are such a leak in my bankroll. It seams every night I loss money in them and win money grinding out the cash games. Last night I spent/wasted $31.50 in tournaments but won $58 in cash games. The pattern has been repeating every night for the last two weeks. January is turning out to be one of my best cash game months in over a year. I am up in Sit-N-Gos but down a little more in MTTs. So MTTs are the real leak in my game this month. This will turn out to be a great month for Bonus and Rake back being I grinded out over 5000 hands this month. I earned $100 from FullTilt from their special Ironman bonus last year. Earned $50 from RiverStars, $80 from CakePoker, and around $30 from UltimateBet. Grinding cash games isn’t exciting but can be very lucrative. Tonight I will take a stab at moving up in levels at Limit HE. Haven’t had much success doing this recently but I fell good about my game right now. Wish me luck! Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

A Broken Record

This BLOG is starting to sound like a broken record. I bubbled another Limit HE FTOPS satellite on FullTilt last night. Only eleven people entered with two places being paid. When we were four handed, with me being 2nd in chips I ran into what I consider a cooler hand. I had pocket Jacks in the big blind. I three bet them after the button, who had been raising every hand for the last three orbits, raised. He was playing super loose/aggressive so his range was ATC. Flop came K-2-3, he bet and I raised. He led into me on the turn which was a seven, I called. The river was a four, he insta-bet and I called. He had the monster K-9 off. This hand was a cooler being I couldn’t give him credit for a hand being he was raising every hand with any two cards. I lasted as a short stack down to three people. Got knocked out with an inconsequential hand. Let me see that is five attempts to win a seat, four bubbles and in one I got back double my buy in. This is getting so frustrating. On a good note my wife has been on a heater multi-tabling short handed Limit HE on Stars. She is up over 300BBs since Saturday! Not only that she requested a check so the money won’t get lost in late night tiltdom. As for me I am still grinding out a nice profit at the short-handed Limit tables on Full Tilt. Last night I won 12BBs in an hour. I will be at it again tonight. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Elks Club Tournament

I never put up a post about the Elks Club Tournament we went to the other night. That’s because it’s just so frustrating to be the only player at the table who knows how to play and yet still lose. My table was total amateur night. In one hand four donks saw a flop for a raise. The under the gun player bet the minimum and three of them went to the turn. They checked the turn and river on a board of J-3-J-7-K with no flush possible. What do you think won this hand, hmm…. Of course pocket twos took down this pot that was almost 6000T at 400-800 with no ante. The other two players both had Ace rag. Why no one took a stab at the pot on the river I’ll never know. Why pocket twos was even in the hand is a mystery also. A few hands before this I lost half my stack with a flopped set of tens. A total donkey, who was catching every flop, won the hand with J-9 off suit. He turned a gutshot and by the river the board had a four straight so I just called his river bet. I won one big hand, when all in, flopped a set of Kings that held up against two donks who both had Ace rag. My final bust out hand sucked also. I went all in, very short with K-8 suited. Turns out my hand wasn’t too bad being I was against two people both with Ace rag. One had A-4 suited and the other A-6 off. I flopped a King and was hoping to triple up. The A-4 turned a flush to send me home. My cousin(ShipThis) didn’t fair any better, he got knocked out right before me. We got fairly deep, down to around 40 players out of 93. Carlo bubbled the final table. I don’t know the details but when we left he had a ton of chips. At least the food was awesome; Carlo brought it from his Deli. BTW - Go Giants, would love to see a big upset in the Super bowl. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Sunday Brawl

It doesn't look like I will be qualifing to play in the Sunday Brawl on FullTilt today. Just more or less bubbled in two attemps to win a seat in the Super Satellite. First I ran A-K into K-8 suited, he caught runner-runner to crack my flopped pair of Aces. Then two hands later I get dealt Aces and push, as the short stack. Q-3 off insta-calls me and flops two pairs! Oh well it isn't all bad news today. Last night I finally broke through the bubble in a $26 satellite to the Limit HE event. I didn't win a seat but I finished in the money. So that's four attempts, with three bubbles and one money finsh. Still probably better to have just spent the $216 to buy in. Will be multi-tabling some short-handed Limit HE today. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Bubble Boy Again

This bubble boy crap is growing old real fast. I played a satellite for the Sunday Brawl this morning, on FullTilt. Three places paid and I finish in forth! That's four in a row, five out of the last six tournaments I have bubbled. Can't seam to identify any leaks in my bubble play. Guess I have to just play through it. Tonight my cousin(Shipthis) is picking me up for an Elks club tournament. Can't wait to go being the field is so weak. Then again in the past I have had lots of trouble dodging the mindfields in these type of settings. Hopefully I will have something good to post about this tournament tomorrow morning. Also plan on winning a Sunday Brawl Seat on FullTilt. This is my favorite tournament of the week so I expect to play in it. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Bubble Boy

This week I feel like the designated bubble boy. I played in a $26 Limit HE satellite for FullTilt’s Limit FTOPS event three times this week. I finished on the money bubble exactly all three times! Last night we had nineteen players with four spots being paid and I finished in 5th. This is the hand that killed me when I was a medium stack. Under the gun plus one raised it up and I called from the small blind with pocket tens. I figured out how to play this hand to the river and still have some chips left. I decided right away to check and call to the river. Flop comes 4-8-9 rainbow, think my tens may be good here. He bets and I call, in a live game I would have three bet pre-flop or check raised on the flop to find out where I am at. This was a special situation being I didn’t want to bubble again. Turn brings a five and I check, he bets and I call. River brings a nine, which should slow him down but he bets anyway. I call and he has pocket jacks to my pocket tens, another cooler for me. Three hands later, while a short stack, I run A-10 suited into A-J off and IGH as the bubble boy once again! Tournaments are just so brutal. I should just pay the $216 for the Limit FTOPS event I want to play in. Problem is now I am stuck $72 in satellites already. On the Short-handed HE front I had a huge swing last night. Started off playing badly after taking some bad beats early in my session. I was down 40BBs in less then an hour. Was really getting frustrated so took a break for a few minutes to clear my head. Came back and put my IPOD on and starting multi-tabling three at a time. The music really seams to help keep me calm. In less then an hour I won 38BBs to end the night down only 2. Think I plugged up some leaks I have developed, will test the theory tonight. Will post about how things went tomorrow. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

P.S.- Thanks to all my readers who have clicked through on my Google adsense banner above, please keep it up!

2008 WSOP

I have been thinking about the 2008 WSOP recently. We have structured our vacation in a way that we potentially will be able to play in three Stud events. Wife and I and both playing in the $1500 RAZZ event, being we are both gluttons for punishment. Then during the following week I will be playing in either/or both the $5000 Hi/Lo Stud Championship and the $1500 Stud event. She will surely be playing in the $1500 Stud event, being that is the event she took 17th in last year.($4900 win.) I really want to play in the $5000 Hi/Lo Stud event. Should bring out many of the big name players. I always play my best against great thinking players. Can’t seam to dodge the minefields of Donkey players in lower buy ins events. $5000 is a little high for me to pay for one event so I will probably get my brothers/friends to take a piece of me. You will probably read this often from now to June, “I can’t wait to go to the WSOP!”. In online play last night I got pretty beaten up playing short-handed HE. Lost 35 BBs in about two hours. Have been running well lately so I was due for a setback. I’ll be at it again tonight. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Online Stud Tournaments

I have become an online Stud tournament master lately. Am including all forms of Stud: Hi/Lo and that bastard child RAZZ. I took 2nd in a RAZZ tournament on FullTilt for $160. Then yesterday I took third in a Hi/Lo for $40. Granted these were only an $11 and a $5.50 tournament. It’s just that I feel like I am in the zone while playing in these. This year my wife and I are going to the WSOP to play in some Stud events. The week we are going has a RAZZ event and a Hi/Lo event. These are the two games I am best at. Maybe this is my year? That elusive big score I am chasing may happen. Last WSOP the wife got so close, 17th in the Stud event. If only she would have believed that Raymer had a hand things would have been different. Remember she lost 75% of her stack by calling him down, to the river, with a pair of tens against his obvious pair of jacks! Of well you live and learn in these tournaments. I will be at it again tonight. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Live Poker is So Rigged(Dr. Pauly)

This hand took place in the Borgata WPT limit HE tournament on sunday. Someone gets it all in on the flop heads up. They turn over A-K of clubs against the A-K of diamonds. The flop is ten of clubs with two diamonds. So I state the A-K of diamonds is freerolling for the pot. (BTW - the A-K of clubs was all in with 60 players left.) I spoke too soon, guess what falls on the turn and river? Yup jack of clubs then the queen of clubs. Runner-runner Royal flush!! I wouldn't believe it if I wasn't at the table. Boy did I have egg on my face. Freerolling my ass, LOL. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Borgata WPT

Wife and I just got back from the Borgata. We both played in the $350 Limit HE event yesterday. Live tournaments are so brutal! I played 11 hours and she played for 12. We both came up just short of the money. 323 players with 36 places being paid. I came in 55th and she finished in 44th. So close and yet so far. I will write about the experience later on or tommorow. Good luck at the tables. Tony

Razz Blonkament

Played in the Friday night Razz Knockout tournament on FullTilt last night. Had a great time playing with my fellow Bloggers/Readers. 21 players started in this with a $2 knockout bonus for each player you elimanted. Also our host put a special $10 bounty on a player named pushmonkey. I wound out knocking him out and Kat so for a $7.70 tournament I won $14. That is the good news bad news is I was so close to winning it all! We got down to four players, with three being paid, and I was second in chips. There was a super short stack with around 900T left, when I had 8000T. I should have just sat on my hands and waited for the bubble to burst. Instead the RAZZ gods laughed at me by giving me monster hands I just couldn't fold. 3-4-5, 2-4-7, 4-5-6 you get the point. Of course I would brick out with them repeatadly. I wound up being the bubble boy but had a great time playing. Will be back at it next week. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

No Longer Running Good

All good things must come to an end. That must be true or maybe me writing about running good just jinxed me. My winning streak came to a crashing end last night. I played a little over two hours of short-handed Limit HE. (Was multi-tabling three games at once.) At one point I was down 100BBs! I had Aces cracked 5 times, all in cruel sick ways. My draws rarely got there. I don’t know how many times I lost with medium pocket pairs to Ace rag hands. Not only was I running bad but also started to play bad to make things worse. So I decided to take a break to walk my dog and start over again. I started again fresh and started to play lock down poker. Things turned around and I ended the night down 60BBs. Not a great result but felt good about making a comeback. I also played in a Satellite to win an FTOPS seat for their short-handed Limit HE event. Things were going well when we got to the final table with 5 people left. They were giving one seat away and paying 2nd and 3rd a nice chunk of change. I ran into the brick wall again. Second best hands and a lot of missed flops. My final hand was just brutal, flopped two pairs from the big blind. There was an Ace on the board, which I knew he had. I played the hand aggressively to try to build up some chips. The turn and river both came with eights, counterfeiting my two pairs. I got knocked out by Ace rag, the old A-5 off to be exact. Limit HE can be so frustrating. Borgata trip this weekend baby! I can’t wait need some Rest/Relaxation big time. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Still Running Good

My running good at the short-handed Limit tables continued again last night. Really feels like I have got this game figured out. Avoided playing suited connectors being most pots were 3 handed or heads up. Big cards and pairs have been working for me fine. If I am first in I will raise with any two big cards or a pair. Even hands like A-9 off are worth a raise if first in. If someone else is already in my starting standards go way up. I won’t even play A-10 if some one has already limped. If it had been raised I usually throw away A-J. These simple rules have been working great for me lately. Last night I made 20BBs in an hour. Not as good as Tuesday night but great anyway. This is also helping me clear my special Ironman Bonus from December on FullTilt. Playing shorthanded the table generates rake really fast. This helps when clearing a bonus and earns rake back at a good pace. Hope I am not jinxing myself by writing about running good again. Don’t think the owners of FullTilt read my BLOG so the bad beat switch shouldn’t be thrown on me – LOL. Speaking of bad beats I took an especially bad one early in my session last night. I raised, under the gun with pocket Kings. Only the big blind saw a flop with me K-5-6. I bet every street and got raised on the river with my set of Kings. The river was an off suit 3 what do you think my opponent had? I won’t keep you in suspense any longer, 2-4 off? Yup got hit on the head by the old 2 by 4 hand. Guy must be a carpenter playing that for a raise – LOL. A half an hour later I got satisfaction when I busted him off the table. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Running Good Rules

Poker can be so much fun when things are going right. Last night I played some short-handed limit on Fulltilt and Riverstars. I just crushed the games, even after taking some really bad beats. Such as flopped trip Jacks heads up and betting/raising it hard to the river. River came with a ten and I get raised. I was scared being this put a possible straight on board. Nope pocket tens makes a full boat on the river. Also lost with pocket Aces to Q-K off suit. Even with these sick beats I won 30BBs in around an hour. Wish I could do this every night. 30BBs an hour would be a dream! Of course I know this isn’t possible unless you are on Absolute and have a super-user account! Haven’t talked much about the Absolute scandal but I think the way the handled it was just horrible. There software/customer support has always been lacking but now all faith I had in them has been totally lost. Won’t be playing there anytime soon. Anyway I have gone on a tangent was talking about running good last night. Hope it continues tonight also. In live Poker news we are going to the Borgata this weekend. On Saturday will be playing some live $10-20, hope things go better then recent trips. On Sunday the wife and I will both be playing in a WPT prelim. event. She is playing in the Ladies No Limit tournament and I am playing in the Limit Event.(The same Limit event I took 13th in last year!) We also may both play in the modified shootout on Monday. I took two days off from work so we could go down and play in these events. Look for a good trip report or two early next week. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Finding Fish Online

Finding Online Fish these days has grown harder but not impossible. I found one at the short-handed limit tables on FullTilt last night. I wonder if he realized I followed him to four different tables over the course of my session. He was playing so bad that it got to the point that I would play any two cards whenever he was in a pot. Made like 40BBs off of him over the course of two hours. Problem is I took a beating at my other tables I was playing at. No Limit again laughed at me, lost four buyins ratter quickly. Overall the night wound up being slighty negative for me. Oh well can’t win them all. I will be at it again tonight. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Sunday Brawl Results

Like I wrote in yesterday’s post I qualified for the Sunday Brawl on FullTilt yesterday for only $7.70. We had 1510 players entered for a first prize of almost 65K. Also there was a $40 bounty for each person you knocked out of it. I chipped up nicely early in the tournament and had 4650T after the 2nd break. Wasn’t able to get a bounty, twice I raised someone all in on the turn and they folded with less then 500T behind. (Both times pot was over 3000T.) Things were going smoothly until we got down to 620 players left, was pretty much card dead, was left with 4000T.(Only because I was stealing the blinds/antes from time to time.) So as first in from the button I raise it to a little less then 3x the big blind with A-10 of diamonds. A short stack in the big blind pushing in, it winds up being for 25% of my stack total with my original raise. I am pretty much pot committed, also there is the $40 bounty on the shorts head to consider. I call and am up against A-K off. Flop comes with two diamonds so he has to fade 12 outs twice. Of course I can’t win this race and am a little steamed up, being this is my 3rd attempt at a bounty that I can’t bring home. Three hands later I get dealt A-10 of diamonds again. As first in I raise it up to three times the big blind. The small and big blinds both call me. The flop comes 8-K-8 with two diamonds. They both check to me and I insta-push. The small blind folds but the big blind insta-calls. He has K-J off, so again I have 12 outs twice. Of course I hit nothing and am knocked out, mister K-J off gets my bounty. So brutal this is the second time in three weeks I qualified for the Brawl but I still can’t win a race in a key situation. This time couldn’t win the same race twice in four hands! I really hate tournament poker sometimes. At least I had a winning day playing live poker. I stopped the bleeding of my bankroll from Saturday. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables. Tony

Sunday Update.

Things are going great for me so far. I turned $7.70 into a $256 Sunday Brawl on FullTilt. (It starts in five minutes.) My wife won an $11 Stud tournament on Stars this morning for $160. Also so far so good in the cash games, up over 15BBs at limit HE. I will update Brawl progress later. Good luck at the tables. Tony

Saturday Update

I was never able to make a comeback at No Limit yesterday. So I switched to short handed Limit and got spanked there instead. At one point I was down 40BBs! Didn't end all bad I played through it and ended up 10 BBs at Limit. That and being down 5 buyins in No Limit made for a losing day, but it could have been much worse. As for today things are going much better. I played in a $7.70 satillte to the Super for the Sunday Brawl on FullTilt. I won on my first attempt so if I can win a seat into the Brawl I will only be in for $7.70! Wish me luck, will do some updates later on. Good luck at the tables. Tony

Bad No Limit Day.

Saturday Poker is not treating me too well. I am getting my ass handed to me playing No Limit online. It's just unreal, the coolers keep coming over and over. I am down 5 buyins at .25-.50 right now. Things better turn around soon. I will update my progress later. Good luck at the tables. Tony

Omaha Hi/Lo MTT

Back to work today, after a week of being sick. Still don’t feel 100% but I am making it through the day. Played a little last night, while in a haze from the meds. I am taking. Don’t quite remember the Omaha Hi/Lo tournament I played in but I finished in 3rd anyway! It was only a $5.50, 105 player tournament on FullTilt. Don’t even know why I played in it but I won $70 nonetheless. This puts me in the plus column for MTTs so far this year. I am positive in SNGs and ring play also for the year. This year I have decided to break the three down separately so I can figure out where I need improvements. My ROI in SNGs is over 15%, that’s not to bad. MTTs have been a problem for me in the past. Probably won’t play in as many this year, even though I want to make that big score so bad. We will see what the year brings. Good luck at the tables. Tony

Yet Another Sick Day.

This is starting to feel like a broken record. Can't seam to beat this bug. I finally bite the bullet and went to the doctor today. Put me on some meds. so I should be back to my old self in a few days. Until then good luck at the tables. Tony

Another Sick Day.

I am home again today sick. Felt better yesterday but then it hit my hard last night. I slept like 13 hours straight. Now I am up an playing a little .25-.50 no limit on FullTilt. I have been doing very well lately playing at this level. Nothing else much going on today. I need to recover and get back to work tomorrow. Good luck at the tables. Tony

Playing Sick

Yesterday I was home sick. Have had a bug for a few days. I felt ok during the middle of the day so I played some No Limit on FullTilt. It was an awesome day I won four buy ins without much effort. Also played in a Hi/Lo Stud tournament on Stars, but got coolered late in it. Played one 6 man turbo SNG on FullTilt, which I won. So overall it was a winning day. I was able to do what you shouldn’t in Poker, play through a time when you are not feeling well. Usually when I play sick the results show it. Last time I went to AC sick I got my ass handed to me. I would not recommend risking any of your bankroll when not feeling 100%. This time it worked out for me but next time I may not be so lucky. Good luck at the tables. Tony

Bad Beat Sundays

I played in six tournaments yesterday, all very frustrating. I bubbled in four of them, like 1 or 2 places from the money! It gets worse then this, twice I flopped a set and pushed only to get called by a flush draw, which got there both times. One of the times it was for 80% of my opponents stack! Another hand I pushed for four times the big blind with Aces and lost to Q-J off?? Of course this was a bounty tournament so that has a lot to do with it. I should just not play on Sundays at all. Good news is I crushed the No Limit games. Almost won enough to cover all my tournament loses. If I factor bonus/rakeback in it was a slightly positive day overall. Still I should find something else to do on Sundays. I am at home sick today and playing a little No Limit. Doing quite well being it's not Sunday. Good luck at the tables. Tony

My Favorite BLOGs

Today's post will be very simple. These are my five favorite BLOGs. Check them out you won't be unhappy with your decision. I read all five of them on a regular basis.

Tao of Poker

Hammer Player

Waffles

Alcanthang

Iggy

Today I am focusing on winning a seat in the Sunday Brawl on FullTilt. So far it doesn't look too good. I bubbled in one sat. Then went all in with Aces and lost to Q-J for 75% of his stack. Oh well good luck at the tables. Tony

Sit-N-Go Madness Update

Havn't had much time to put a dent in the madness prizes last night. Great news anyway people are playing so badly during this promotion! They are trying to get points really fast. In two 6 man ones last nigh we lost a player in the first orbit! I played six turbos last night and cashed in four of them for a profit of $80 in an hour! Get on FullTilt and check this out for yourself. I will post about my progress later. Good luck at the tables. Tony

Sit-N-Go Madness!

FullTilt is running their popular Sit-N-Go Madness promotion again this weekend. I am excited to participate in it. From my understanding every two hours, starting at 4pm eastern time today they will have up Sit-N-Go leader boards for each level. The top seven finishers at each level win a prize. They will also have an overall leader and prizes given out throughout the weekend. Being I am trying to finish the month in the top 100 of their regular SNG leader board this give me the perfect excuse to play a ton of them this weekend. So far this month I have played in seventeen $11 SNGs for a profit of $17, so I am averaging $1 profit per SNG. Not going to make me rich but at least it’s a profit. Also earning points toward getting a new flat screen monitor. On top of that clearing my special ironman bonus and earning rake back. You see all of these promotions can start adding a lot of money/prizes to your bottom line. I could only be a break-even player and still be making a lot of money playing on FullTilt. So I will be plugging away at the low limit SNGs starting today after work. Good luck at the tables and have a great weekend. Tony

P.S. – If you want to give Full Tilt a try please click on my banner above this post. I could use the referral bonus : - ).

2008 Poker Goals

I read Hoyazo’s BLOG today.(Hammer Player link on my sidebar, if you are interested.) He inspired me to write a post today about my goals for 2008 in Poker. I will keep this post short and sweet being that’s how I roll, LOL. In live Poker I want to continue playing limit HE profitably at $10-20 but want to move up to $20-40 ASAP. Want to final table the $340 Saturday tournament at the Borgata at least three times. Most importantly I want to cash in a WSOP event this year. This won’t be easy being I work for a living and will only be out in Vegas for one week of the WSOP. I plan on playing in two events this year. During the year I also want to final table a Stud or Stud Hi/LO event at Foxwoods or in AC.(If the Taj even has them this year.) At the very least a few cashes in them.(Sick of going really deep and missing the money by less then ten places!) In online poker I want to continue my winning ring game play but increase it to be a nice number a month. Will need to move up to a higher level to do this. Want to final table the Sunday major event on FullTilt and RiverStars. Also I want to make a big online score of over 10K this year in a MTT. Would love to final table a FTOPS event this year also. These goals are not set too high that I can’t achieve them this year. I plan on giving it me all so watch for me at the tables! Good luck at the tables. Tony

First Real Post of the New Year

Happy New Year to all my readers.(The twenty or so of you, LOL.) For the New Year I have decided to do less sponsored posts. Also to do more hand history posts being this is a good way to learn how to think about decisions in Poker. I want something in return from my readers; please make comment about my posts from time to time. This way I know that someone is reading and thinking about what I have written. Being there will be less sponsored posts I would like my readers to please click through on my Google Ad sense banner above this post. It only takes a second and I greatly appreciate it! Now that is out of the way let’s get onto some poker talk. Really am loving the turbo SNGs these days on FullTilt. For no more then a forty-minute investment can make some serious money playing in them. I can easily play four of them on my nineteen-inch monitor at once. Am looking into buying a bigger monitor so I can play six at a time. Actually I am saving up my fulltilt points to get one for free. I have 27,000 points but need 48,000 to get a twenty-one inch flat screen monitor. Should be able to do this within the next six months. On FullTilt you earn seven points for each dollar in rake you pay for SNGs and MTTs. So if I play in four $22 SNGs at once I earn 56 points in around 40 minutes. Not bad at all, also need to earn 100 points a day for twenty days a month to maintain the silver level of the ironman challenge. FullTilt has really offered good promotions to its players to compete with RiverStars. I loved the days when there were like eight big Poker Sites, the promotions were really juicy. You could make money just being a break-even player by bonus whoring big time. Thanks to the US government those days are over but there are still some good promotions to be had at FullTilt and Pokerstars. Oh well I am rambling today. Good luck at the tables. Tony
